Jay Carey

He opened Jay Carey Law Office in Arlington, Washington as a general practice with an emphasis on real estate, domestic relations, civil and criminal trial litigation, insolvency, estate administration, and guardianship. He is no longer accepting new clients.

Jay Carey was the Darrington Town Attorney for 19 years doing misdemeanor prosecutions and civil representations. He has acted as a Guardian/Guardian ad Litem for Incapacitated Persons in Chapter 11 cases in the State of Washington

Jay has also been a Chapter 13 Dependency Guardian ad Litem and a Chapter 26 Child Custody Guardian ad Litem, both in Snohomish County, as well as an attorney Guardian ad Litem in minor settlements.

For 24 years, Jay Carey was a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee. He has been involved in the Escrow and Title Insurance industry for more than 20 years.

In the community, Jay enjoys spending his time as a soccer coach and association officer for over thirty years. He was a member of the Board of Trustees in the Washington Land Title Association from 2000 to 2011. Jay formerly was an officer in the U.S. Army. He is married and a parent of five wonderful children.
